Yup. F1 around the streets of Singapore was, by all accounts, a rip-roaring success. Even PM Lee said as much. But he also made a valid point: From next year on, the inconvenience (read: Road closures, traffic diversions) to the public must be kept to a minimum. And thank goodness for that. Some of the road closures led to hitherto unheard of (and unseen) traffic jams around various bottlenecks in the city, causing some of you us in the office to take up to two hours to get to work!
