The old opposition warhorse, Joshua Benjamin Jeyaretnam, is no more. His death marks the end of an era for opposition politics in Singapore. In fact, it was only two months ago when we sat down with him at a Foreign Correspondents Association luncheon, at which he outlined plans for his newly formed Reform Party. And although a little frail, his mind (and trademark wit) was as sharp as it had ever been. We will miss the guy.
