Looks like there’s no stopping the price-hike bandwagon. As if the recent electricity price spike wasn’t enough (21 percent, yikes!), Singtel, has clambered onboard with a price hike of its own. According to the telco giant, most consumers are only expected to pay $1.50 more. The main reason: The cost of copper has treble since 1991. But the sums become more impressive when you multiply a buck fifty with a million or so households by 12 months. That’s some nice numbers for the company.
