Cantonese Chic
There’s a reason why Li Bai Cantonese Restaurant (G/F, Sheraton Towers Singapore, 39 Scotts Rd., 6839-5623) has been around for 24 years: They’re really that good. To celebrate its WGS award for the Asian Restaurant of the Year (Regional), Li Bai is extending its two WGS Celebratory Set Menus till Jun 30. The five-dish WGS Celebratory Set Menu 1 ($138 per person) includes authentic scrumptious Cantonese favorites like braised crystal crabmeat and shark’s fin dumplings; and mango pancake served with bird’s nest jelly. On the six-dish WGS Celebratory Set Menu 2 ($148 per person), you’ll find the mango boat with barbecued ducks and scallops—a heavenly offering of delightfully sweet mangoes paired with succulent cuts of meat. The entrées of double-boiled superior shark’s fin in young coconut; steamed cod fish with black fungus and lotus root; and the stewed special ramen noodles and Boston lobster are amazing. Hurry down now.

Dine in Style
Perched at the pinnacle of Swissôtel the Stamford, Equinox Restaurant (70/F, Equinox Complex, Swissôtel The Stamford, 2 Stamford Rd., 6837-3322) has already scored top points when it comes to ambiance. It also recently launched a new menu of divine dishes by east-meet-west maestro Chef de Cuisine Hugh Styles. Try the yummy sashimi of yellowtail kingfish with smoked eel ($32). Styles even gives the classic pan fried foie gras ($36) a fresh new twist by topping it with baby bananas caramelized with premium rum and vanilla scented sweet potato mousseline. Top off your meal with the yummy golden apple tarte tatin with ice cream and jelly ($20).
