The M1 Fringe Fest was absolutely DA BOMB. My only gripe was with the theme Art & The Law. I initially thought we would see some wily acts of mischief artfully executed all in the name of art. You know, like urinating in a cup in public, “defacing” structures, snipping off pubes, that sort of stuff.

After over 30 years of break-ups and make-ups, 11 albums (a quarter of which made the UK Top 20), and motorcycle accidents that eventually led to the death of two band members, Echo & The Bunnymen have finally gotten their act together for a way overdue, one-night only concert in Singapore. Lead guitarist Will Sergeant counts the ways the music scene has changed.
Tell us about the ‘80s. Do you guys miss those times?
Sure, it was a great period, but you know you can’t keep going back to it. We’re still playing the same stuff we played then so it should be the same, but it isn’t.
